Overture Center for the Arts

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Areas of Expertise: Custom Metals Fabrication, Fire Protection, HVAC and Plumbing

Encompassing a full city block, the Overture Center for the Arts is a 400,000-square-foot visual and performing arts facility located in the heart of downtown Madison. The Center houses seven stages, a 220-seat lecture hall, five art galleries, and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.

This $205 million cultural arts district center was designed by internationally renowned architect Cesar Pelli, with Potter Lawson and Flad & Associates serving as executive architects. J.H. Findorff & Son Inc was selected as the project’s general contractor and collectively, Overture’s construction project teams were recognized with numerous industry awards, including Cultural Project of the Year from Midwest Construction and The Decade’s Best New Public Development from InBusiness Magazine.
