A Hooper Commitment to Community

As a long-standing member of the Madison and Dane County communities, Hooper proudly participates in charitable community events and organizations. Yet Hooper could not do what it does for its community without the support of its employees, who are the core of Hooper’s success.

At a corporate level, the Hooper Foundation is dedicated to financially supporting community charities and encouraging employee involvement in local charitable organizations and events. Madison is Hooper’s home-base, but Hooper’s footprint extends beyond that, and so does our community involvement. With employees from all over the county, Hooper’s outreach efforts extend into many of our employee’s individual communities.

For more than 30 years, the Hooper Foundation has established priorities in the areas of health and wellness, education, hunger and homelessness, arts and culture, construction industry advancement, and matching funds. Hooper is proud of the generous funding of the Foundation by the action of its Board of Directors and the contributions made by our employees as part of our Employee Matching Gift Program. By investing in the Foundation, Hooper is making a long-term investment in the future of its community and the communities in which it serves.

Community Outreach

Matching Funds

Through its Employee Matching Gift Program, the Hooper Foundation matches employee donations to charitable organizations dollar-for-dollar. The Employee Matching Gift Program was created to encourage and help our employees contribute to their communities. A fund is set aside annually to match both Hooper Corporation’s and General Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.’s employees’ generous charitable contributions. This program is a way for Hooper and General to make a positive impact in each community in which our employees are involved. Funding recipients must be 501(3)(c), or legally tax deductible.
