Caryn has been a Project Engineer at Hooper since 2019. Expanding on her role at Hooper, she uses her skills to inspire and empower others to reach their full potential. Prior to the pandemic, Caryn organized an “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” at the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. She enlisted 10 fellow women engineers from the area and led various activities to encourage interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. Caryn continues to help create connections for kids to experience science-based learning opportunities.

Caryn currently tutors elementary and middle school children at Mt. Zion’s Academic Learning Center in South Madison, and always brings a STEM-related activity to share with the students each week. She gives her time and energy to be a positive role model and shows young people pathways to success.
