Description: Joint interdisciplinary facility on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus where Hooper Corporation's Custom Metals Fabrication, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and HVAC (General Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.) Departments combined to form the BIM team with Westphal & Company. Environmentally sensitive measures taken by Hooper Corporation and General Heating and Air Conditioning include a geothermal well system, reduced air change rates, solar hot-water heating, storm flow irrigation, gray water use for irrigation, atria thermodynamics and high-efficiency water flow fixtures and HVAC systems.
