Why Hooper?

History

Hooper Corporation was founded in 1913 as C.A. Hooper Corporation - a small mechanical contractor in Madison, WI. Over the years, Hooper expanded into the electric power industry and has grown into a strong player in the nine industries we serve.

Our work began locally and has grown to cover the majority of the United States. Since the beginning, we have remained a union business, employing the best and brightest of skilled tradespeople.

The guiding principles on which Hooper has built its business are as fundamentally strong today as they were in 1913. We value safety as our number one priority; we do business the right way and in the pursuit of excellence; we build strong customer relationships and embrace the future without neglecting our roots; and we are continually expanding upon our environmental stewardship and corporate citizenship efforts.

As a privately owned company with no outside shareholders, we take pride in our growth and the succession of the company by the generations of hands-on professional owner-operators Hooper has had. Our guiding principles and business model are time tested and proven in industries where competition is keen and success is difficult to achieve.

Our company has changed over the years but some things will never change; we will always do our best to provide our customers with exceptional quality mechanical and electric power service.
